We are working on Shella theme version 4.8.0 and were copying over code that was done on version 4.4.0, but it isn't working on version 4.8.0. I am working with a programmer and we are unable to figure this out. Any help is appreciated.
This task requires specific programming skills (to analyze code in. liquid files) and additional time.
Unfortunately, custom code changes are not included in the general theme support and we do not have a documentation as for how to implement the custom code.

If you edit the theme source code, you should merge your code changes manually.
We recommend to use the Git software to track your code changes.
Unfortunately, custom code changes are not included in the general theme support.
