As I was updating the theme and the settings of 4.8 (manually), I realised there is this settings under Theme Settings > App Language > Load jQuery First. This is ON by default on 4.8, but I realised I had turned it OFF for my LIVE theme 4.5. Can you explain what does this do, and how does it affect performance?? Thanks!

The option “Load jQuery first” is required for some translation apps.
Once your translation app doesn´t work, you need to enable this option.
If this option is disabled, the page load speed will be better.
